About the role
In this role, you will:
- Manage the establishment/refinement of standard data capture process, analysis there-off, standard reporting capabilities and the implementation of a TCI best practice module across the business unit
- Contribute to ensure that the reliability of the TCI fleet can be improved
- Create, monitor, and manage all plant engineering improvement or modification as continuous improvement program or mining innovation program
- Create, monitor, and manage all plant engineering solution for all TCI site as continuous improvement program or bright idea
- Monitor and analyse any plant engineering issue from all TCI site, then manage engineering summary report for product problem meeting with supplier
- Monitor and manage site statutory inspection compliance
About you
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3-year related experience as Mechanical Engineer in mining industry
- Good understanding of heavy equipment and automotive (preferable)
- Strong knowledge & concept of designing, maintaining, and improving process
- Excellence ability to follow analytical thinking processes for solving problems in the field of mechanical engineering with initiative, decision making, creativity and critical reasoning
- Capable of using engineering CAD software such as: Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk AutoCAD
- Capable of using Microsoft applications such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
- Good knowledge & concept of database and reporting (preferable)
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, good interpersonal and good communication skills
- Domicile in Balikpapan area (preferable)
- Willing to work on all TCI site location as required

About the role
In this role, you will:
- Ensure the plant fleet is managed to achieve optimum levels of utilisation, availability, and whole of life cost and performance capability.
- Ensure that the client’s fixed assets are managed to achieve optimum levels of availability, whole life cost and performance capabilities.
- Manage the workforce to create a safe, productive, cost conscious work ethic through a cooperative approach with the workforce and unions.
- Manage the mine and Client to achieve budgeted profit margins.
- Manage all operating costs. Establish and manage planning and scheduling regimes to maximise the value of the resource to TCI and client.
About you
- Mining or Civil Engineering Degree or possibly Project Management.
- 20 years+ working exposure to Mine Operations.
- 15 years+ as a manager or leader of people within Mine Operations.
- Overseas experience in leading Mine Group/Operations.
- Contract experience
- Open cut operations experience
- Analytical and understanding of contractual obligations and their impact on profitability
