Fabrication Engineer
Fabrication activities incl. plan, coordinate, Technical Documentation for steel structure material requirement and carry out technical evaluations including studies and calculation for steel structure for fabrication. Provide a safe, Reliable and Effective production in machining/Fabrication and Liaise with supervisor for and possible improvement/solutions. Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labour, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements And to ensure that all Fabrication Process can be effective and efficient on time according to time and budget.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 (five) years experiences in Welding/Fabrication in mining industry
- Proactive safety attitude
- Ability to evaluate technical and Economic factor, recommending engineering and manufacturing action for attainment of design objective of process or product by applying knowledge of material science and related technologies
- Experience/familiar in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Program
- Strong knowledge and concepts for the Fabrication Workshop process that is organized to create designs and drawings that are safe for fabrication and can be operated on site
- Preferably to have on-hand experiences in: Design and Drawing (AUTO CAD) and Calculation for steel structure for Fabrication
- Excellent computer skill, medium English capability (both passive & active)
- Able to work in detail, time management, target oriented, and good reporting system
- Able to show and maintain good attitude, open, honest, proactive, and respecting others
- Willing to work in any location e.g. any project/site location which in remote areas.
Responsibilities:
- To manage, review and implement all Fabrication Plan incl. all requirement (Material selection, Calculation design, tools list Requirement, scope of work/activity list, job duration, trade, number of trade and to some extent –estimate cost
- To manage all inspection sheet Inspection Fabrication include NDT inspection, Volume matric, SWL (Safety Working Limit), WLL (Work Load Limit) with coordination Lifting Department.
- To evaluate and analyse post-Maintenance plan data, e.g.: Evaluate feedback document of Fabrication plan jobs (Drawing)
- Responsible handling the transhipment materials.
REQUIREMENT
- Min. Diploma degree in any major.
- Min. 3 years working experiences in dealing with Logistics.
- Good communication in English and Bahasa both written and oral.
- Understanding of Logistics / Warehousing.
- Good team work.
- Familiar with SAP, Microsoft Word & Excel.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Receiving, issuing documentation to cover the shipment such as Packing List, Cargo Manifest, etc.
- Expedite/follow up every shipment until received at destination.
- Organize/Contact transporter for the shipment collection.
- Checking the packaging & labelling.
- Declare Insurance every shipment.
- Inspect / check materials at Vendor, special for loading / unloading process.
- GR / Updating materials receiving report, Issue PO-STO & Delivery process on a daily basis to the SAP system.
- Monitor progress Air Freight & Road freight materials.
- Raising receipt discrepancy report (RDR) if required.
- Prepare freight cost allocation.
- Submit weekly report.
- Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
Logistic Supervisor

Warehouse Supervisor
Directly responsible for the overall store operation, inventory, audits, input of purchase orders and security of the warehouse in order to provide support higher service level for company in term of part store availability and a good practice to the process which conform to business ethics and company’s procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Minimal 7 years experiences in warehouse preferably in logistic.
- Sound knowledge of Inventory Control and Supply Chain Management
- Full comprehensive knowledge for Quality Management System, ISO 9001 and implementation.
- Awareness of ERP system (e.g. Avantis, SAP, or JD Edwards)
- Thorough understanding for Document Management System
- Familiar with Customs regulation for export and import
- Familiar with Freight regulation
- Fluent in English and strong computer literacy
- Able to work under high pressure
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skill, teamwork, and motivate people.
- Working location in Balikpapan
Responsibilities
- Ensure work – warehouse area performed conforms to Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Corporate procedures, System Operating Procedure (SOP) Materials Management warehouse and official standards and requirements
- Monitor and control critical spares requirement and reduction of obsolescence and surplus stock levels to ensure all asset inventory are well managed
- Ensure that incoming material is inspected for conformity with order specifications and checked for defects
- Manages environmental aspects of facilities by staying appraised of environmental concerns and advising departmental management of guidelines, procedures, etc., to maintain environmental compliance
- Raise MR for regular transport and obtain MR for specific transport required to arrange PO for PM/Proc Manager approval
- Team player to execution 4 batch inventory stock count
- Actively contribute to a team culture where all employees are responsible for their own and co-worker Health, Safety and Environmental, Keep work area clean and tidy, take corrective action on all hazardous situations in order to maintain a safety, health and environment at all times
- Uphold procurement business ethics and take ownership of every single deal for company benefit to ensure the adherence of overall company’s business ethics
- Raise PR (Purchase Requisition) & process GR (Goods Receiving), GI (Goods Issuing), GIT (Goods Transfer, and Cargo Manifest from and into the system
- Contribute and responsible in warehouse start-up and close-out.
