Engineer Mining

The role as Engineer Mining is responsible to deliver drill and blast design and planning requirements for the project.
In this role, you will:
Ownership of data management and reporting
Providing guidance and input into the drill and blast
Work closely with the Technical Services Team
Drill Preparation and Pattern Design
Prepare loadsheets and initiation designs for all blasts
Operate and control civil engineering software packages and evaluate output (Terramodel) to suggesting changes and improvement where needed
Blast reconciliations and analyzing
Provide advice to production personnel on the required drill and blasting needs
Coaching and mentoring of graduate mining engineers and technical assistants in order to provide technical support
Ready travel to the site as backup engineer for support Drill and Blast
About you
Graduated from Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
Previous experience in Drill and Blast, preferably in an Open Cut mining environment with minimum 3 Years’ experience
Certified in KJL Class II and (POP from Mine and Energy Department would be valuable)
Experience with Mine Software, Minescape Drill and Blast, Tie-up Software, Microsoft Office
Proficient in English (Speak and Written)
Proficient in Mining Principles, Drill and Blast design concepts and mining methods

Supervisor Mechanic

About the role
The role as Supervisor Mechanic is responsible to lead the operation and maintenance Heavy Equipment, day-to-day both Plant TMRP and Kariangau yard operations.
In this role, you will:
Leading the operation and maintenance Heavy Equipment, day-to-day both Plant TMRP and Kariangau yard operations including production, logistics and maintenance while ensuring compliance with all labor, safety, environmental and corporate policies and regulations
Develop and manage the strategies, plans and budgets as agreed with the site as client to achieve the organizational and financial objectives of the company
To ensure targets and objectives within each area of the business are met
Provide a customer focused approach throughout the TMRP staff as necessary for the future development of the business, proactively promoting the TMRP

About the role
The role as Senior Engineer Plant is responsible to provide strategy plan, methodology, ensure compliance of the team for engineering & technical support in TCRC project.
In this role, you will:
To provide strategy plan, methodology, ensure compliance of the team for engineering & technical support in TCRC project
Review mechanical application in all workshops and PDCA for engineering improvement & communicate initiatives
Instrumental in key decisions on technical support needed by TCRC (minor/major asset, parts vendor, rebuild system, etc.)
Conduct regular repair supply vendor audits and maintain good communication with them
Complete specific analysis on reliability, cost, labour hours, etc as required by the TCRC rebuild teams and management
Lead the engineering team; rebuild specialists, QA/QC officers, QA/QC assistants which manage following tasks ; a. Product/component failure analysis & technical support, b. Quality issue in rebuild process, mentor and guide the 'SWP/How to' processes, c. Offsite repair management, d. Plant/facility inspection & maintenance
Establish working/cordial relationships by demonstrating effort to co-operate with employees at all levels
Deal with issues at the workplace in a flexible, friendly and co-operative manner
This position act as the leader of engineering team
Be fluent with mechanical engineering software in order to support TCRC engineering. Eg. Autocad
Maintain current and strive to improve technical skills and competencies

About you

Specialist Training (Lifting)

About the role
The Specialist Training (Lifting) will be responsible to train & assess employees within mining and construction projects in all aspects of lifting equipment. Reporting to the Superintendent Technical Support & Statutory and based on Balikpapan Support Facility on a 5/2 roster, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high quality solutions and results.
Some of your duties will include;
To train & assess TCI employees within mining and construction projects in all aspects of lifting equipment: mobile crane, forklift, crane truck, telehandler, elevated work platform and overhead crane training, lifting study in order to achieve optimum safety best performance and maximum productivity with a high focus on safety
To ensure that TCI lifting equipment training requirements are being conducted in accordance with the Thiess Governance System (TGS)
Assist in the design of lifting equipment training material which is relevant to used competency standards
Actively involved in maintain and monitor of training equipment used for training activities and provide report to superiors when noncompliance found
Provide report and feedback of training activities to site supervision and TCI Training & Development supervisors in order to keep the alignment systems between training & development and sites
Provide accurate report based on training report participants data to T&D Admin training in order to assist in database improvement
Provide result of lifting equipment training to site superintendent, site training coordinator and TCI Training & Development Supervisors and Manager
Conduct tests and examinations for lifting equipment personnel/operator
Ensure all attained competencies are recorded in both hard and soft copy
Develop the skills proficiency of workplace trainers and assessors
About you
What skills and experience do you need?
Senior High School/vocational school or similar
Certificate IV in Workplace Training (Trainer/Assessor certification by Government)
Relevant License from Government (SIO) in Mobile Crane Class 1, Overhead Crane, Forklift, Crane Truck and other lifting equipment would be an advantage
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the mining and/or construction industry as a mobile crane operator with Lifting equipment’s OHS License (SIO) class I including other lifting support equipment: crane truck, overhead crane, forklift, telehandler and elevated work platform & others Lifting Equipment & Lifting activity (Rigging)
