Job Summary: The primary responsibility of a Field Specialist (FS) is to ensure high-quality delivery and execution of oilfield services and operations to customers in terms of safety, quality, and efficiency. Activities include confirming that wellsite equipment, services, and products are operating to standards and dispatched to the wellsite according to schedule. The FS leads a wellsite team and verifies that team personnel complete training and development programs as assigned.
The FS reports to the Product and Service Delivery (PSD) Manager or to the Engineer in Charge.
Employment Type: Permanent Hired with 3 months’ probation period – based in Balikpapan, Duri and/or Cikarang
Responsibilities
- Controls quality of service delivery and execution during all phases of operations.
- Performs assigned reporting and administrative duties for field operations, accurately and on schedule.
- Actively participates in local loss prevention programs.
- Organizes and participates actively in training of assigned operators; leads and supports training of team’s junior-level engineers and crew.
- Ensures all assigned tools and equipment are maintained in a state of readiness and keeps their status up to date.
Qualifications
- Minimum engineering diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience as Wireline Field Specialisr or preferably has experience running Schlumberger equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian Bahasa.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
