Di PSS, kami memasok layanan logistik dan transportasi laut untuk perusahaan-perusahaan penambangan batubara di Indonesia. Muatan batubara diangkut dari situs penambangan ke laut lepas, yang mana lalu dinuat kedalam vesel induk untuk distribusi ke manca-negara. Kami memiliki 2 kantor cabang di Banjarmasin dan Samarinda, Kalimantan Selatan.
SHIPPING AGENCY MANAGER
He/She key role of Shipping Agency Manager is to support the operation of the fleet by ensuring the compliance to the shipping regulations, arranging the agency services and arranging stevedoring services at the ports.
Job Description:
- Ensure that Ships Agency performance and service quality is according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Ensure all shipping documentation are prepared
- Maintain the validity of ship and company licenses
- Ensure all customs documentation relative to vessel and cargo clearance are in place
- Ensure operation not affected negatively due to shipping administrative issue
- Ensure smooth operations by relating with charterers and ship owners as the case may be including involved government agencies.
- Manage all documentation processes to ensure smooth berthing
- Interface between external Authorities And management
- Ensure that payment to agents/ stevedores are done as per agreement
- Maintain good relationship with customers and Authorities
- Ensure effective control of operational cost
- Actively identify new business and sales opportunities, and work to promote local ports towards customers
- Accomplish other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree within Maritime or Business management field, or alternatively work experience compensating for formal education.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Ship Agency Operations.
- Familiar with Local Port Authority regulations, procedures and governing tariffs.
- Willing to be placed in Samarinda, East Kalimantan
