Shipping Operator
Balikpapan

• Process customer orders promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate sea freight shipments and transport arrangement.
• Chartering of vessels.
• Book service with co-loaders for import / export and trans-shipment.
• Prepare billings.
• Work closely with internal departments to coordinate customer’s shipment.
• Build and maintain good rapport with customers to fulfil their requirement.
• Prepare relevant shipping documents and ensure all documents are accurate and in accordance to Letter of Credit and shipping instructions.
• Monitor and follow-up on shipment schedule and delivery of goods.
• Filing and updating of schedules.
• Liaise with shipping lines, bank and internal staff on documents processing.
• Submit exports and imports containers details.
• Comply with port regulations and facilitate commercial trade transactions, as well as update import permits.
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
• A basic school certificate.
• Relevant working exposure or experience in a similar role.
• Willing to relocate to the job location.
Supervisor, Quality Control

- Approve incoming materials/products by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials/products.
- Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor.
- Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests.
- Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work or to highlight defects.
- Document and update quality inspection results by completing reports and logs.
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- A degree in the related job field.
- Those with 7 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.
- Willing to relocate to the job location.
Senior Associate, Jetty Operation

• Undertaking jetty operations in a safe and efficient manner ensuring that operational and client requirements are met and complying with the port’s legal operating procedures.
• Ensuring tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner minimising any potential hazards including environmental damage.
• Connecting / disconnecting loading arms, spool pieces, samplers etc. in accordance with discharge / loading orders in a safe manner to ensure cargo is loaded and unloaded in a timely manner.
• Monitoring of ship to shore interface during loading / discharge / bunkering / ballasting or any vessel operation whilst alongside the jetties.
• Monitoring of terminal storage tank levels whilst product movements are in progress to avoid under or overloading.
• Maintaining jetty logs and ensuring that a concise jetty handover is undertaken on shift change to ensure continuity of service and minimise the possibility of errors.
• Pre-arrival and post departure checking and cleaning up of jetty area to maintain good housekeeping.
• Providing information for incident investigations as required ensuring continuous improvement and standards are maintained.
• Reporting all observations of defects, near misses and incidents that could have or did compromise health, safety, environment, plant integrity or security.To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
• A degree in the related job field.
• Those with 1 to 2 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.
