MANAGER - TAX
Key elements of the position include:
• Ensure the periodical provision of tax reports, including withholding tax (WHT), value-added tax (VAT), sales tax, land and building tax, fuel tax and other local taxes, also non-state revenue reports including royalties, comply with the regulation, accurate, and on-time. Ensure the reporting match with the accounting report.
• Manage the audit plan for tax and non-tax state revenue.
• Manage the audit risk for tax and non-tax state revenue.
• Ensure the tax audit and non-tax state revenue audit have send the documents match with the requirements.
• Making tax planning and, ensure the tax planning done accordingly and take corrective action if necessary.
• Making the non-Tax State Revenue planning, ensure the Non-Tax State Revenue planning done accordingly and take corrective action if necessary.
• Maintain the relationship with the tax office, and ESDM department of Non-tax State revenue.
• Propose and review annual and monthly Section budget and manage its implementation.
• Maintain efficient operating practices and apply the most optimum way in executing programs.
• Promote and reinforce compliance with the KPC Health, Safety, Environment & Security (HSES) rules and regulations among all employees.
• Monitor operational activities with particular regards to the Fatality Prevention Elements (FPE).
• Plan and maintain optimum manning within the Section.
• Lead team members by implementing the KPC Performance Management System, including performance planning, feedback and evaluation.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members in accordance with the KPC Competency Management and Leadership Development Systems.
• Foster teamwork spirit and create a workplace culture among team members consistent with the KPC Values.
• Set improvement targets, look for inefficiencies and the root causes, implement action plans and measure results.
• Continually monitor the Section for Business Improvement possibilities.
• Standardise procedures and ensure they are documented.
Qualifications:
• S1 degree in Tax or Accounting with minimum 15 years relevant experience in taxation or accounting, or S2 degree in the same fields with minimum 10 years relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge on prevailing laws, rules and regulations regarding tax and non-tax state income.
• Tax Brevet Certificates A, B and C.
• Good knowledge on Coal Contract of Work (Perjanjian Karya Pengusahaan Pertambangan Batubara/PKP2B) and related regulations.
• Strong planning, organizing, interpersonal relations, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good computer skills to operate office suite.
• Strong commitment to KPC vision, mission, values and HSES standards.
