J Resources is an Indonesian owned, intermediate gold producer, as measured by global output. We produce ~200,000oz per annum, derived mainly from our operating Indonesian assets. We operate, mine and understand low grade-gold deposits and heap leach systems.

As a result of the rapid expansion, we are currently looking for qualified candidate to fill the following role for one of our mining operation located in Nunukan, North Kalimantan :
1. Engineer – Civil & Geotech
Responsibilities:
- To perform pit monitoring activities related to Geotechnical Issue which include blasting activity, drainage system, pit wall design achievement
- To ensure all geotechnical monitoring tools are always in good condition and do the measurement as well.
- To perform monitoring on pit areas related to geotechnical issues. This role includes the stability of garbage disposal, control ponds, and other ponds, mining facilities (camps, offices, and factories)
- To do stability in the field including providing recommendations on geotechnical issues.
- To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.
Requirements:
- Degree in mine engineering or related discipline
- Have extensive site-based mining experience with a capability in hard rock geotech
- 3 year/s relevant experience in gold mining industry is preferred.
