Some of your duties will include:• To organise and coordinate all tasks related to the engineering and environmental activities at the Sangatta Mine Site, such as mine planning, mine rehabilitation activities, and reporting.
• Establish and maintain a record of sound safety and environmental performance and management practice at all levels of operation as per Thiess standard
• Manage and Coach all subordinates to get maximum performance
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly mine planning and reports.
• To assist project manager in managing client communication, human resources and external relation.
• To maintain quality and environmental standards which comply with the Projects Environmental Management Plan as EMR and TMS
What skills and experience do you need?
• University degree (S1) Mining or Civil Engineering or Geology
• Minimum 8 years’ experience at Supervisory level or 4 years at Managerial level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate at Senior levels both internally and externally
• Strong production focus and successful track record, proven to achieve targets and planning skills are pre-requisite

SUPERINTENDENT MINING – 925664

Some of your duties will include:• Co-ordinate all mining senior supervisors and mining supervisors in the workplace of the removal of overburden/inter burden and coal in a safe, effective manner on time and within budget in a designated area;
• Plan, direct, monitor and reconcile the technical aspect of the mining operations including daily, short to tong term (annual) plans, operational performance, blast design and sequencing, rehabilitation, drainage and road design, to assist in achieving agreed coal production targets;
• Check daily production figures and use them to address the problem areas;
• Minimize coal losses;
• Analyze and review the system, procedures and equipment utilized within the mine and recommend improvements to enhance coal production;
• Develop standards and procedures of work that can be applied across operations;
• Maintain and facilitate clear communication with all stakeholders, clients, customers, suppliers with respect to operational capability, performance, and resource requirements.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum graduated from Senior High School; minimum of 8 years’ experience in large open cut mining operation of which at Least one or two year in production/service supervision/ management role;
• Mining heavy industry experience is essential; Could operate mining equipment;
• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills.
SENIOR SUPERVISOR WELDING - 925658

Some of your duties will include:• The scope of your role will include but not be limited to ensure all welding machines are in good working order and condition;
• Ensure all oxy-acet sets and hoses in good condition;
• Ensure all oxy-acet sets and hoses in good condition including flash back arresters and all oxy-acet equipment;
• Ensure all welding P.P.E is worn and in good condition; monitor welding consumables and maintain stocks;
• Ensure all electric tools in good working and safe condition;
• Maintain good working environment and to communicate any grievances to Supervisor.

PLANNER PLANT – 925520

Some of your duties will include:• Contribute to TCI Plant objectives through the establishment and ongoing refinement of a best practice model for supporting on plant maintenance planning related issues
• Coordinating the component forecasting with OEM’s, workshop and sites and ensure the component availability are well managed
• Manage the component routable stock/ inventory and manage the component allocation
• Monitoring and follow up the condition monitoring of components to make sure the availability component, plan and allocation is effective and efficient
• Ensure JDE is fully understood and data planning or component manage properly
• Ensure plant related systems are clearly understood and used to support planning related issues
What skills and experience do you need?
• Tertiary degree in mechanical engineering or Thiess apprentice or extensive crane related experience; requires a minimum 5 years’ professional experience in similar role as Planner in maintenance and planning in the mining industry; familiar with Heavy Equipment’s and have working knowledge of mining equipment components and experience in safe work practices; have skills in planning component methods, principles and technique; have a good analysis and reporting skills;
• Good communication in English as well Bahasa; computer literate; high initiative, performance driven; good planning skill with capability of managing relationship and develop others; able to communicate to all level (internal/external), proactive; able to work in under pressure.
SUPERINTENDENT MECHANIC – 925659
(MSJ Based)
Some of your duties will include:• To ensure that the maintenance department goals are achieved
• Organize shutdown crew, welding crew, lifting crew & auxiliary crew as per daily basis
• Communication and reporting. Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel regarding breakdowns safety issues, and prioritizing of equipment repairs.
• Ensure to accurate the completion of daily breakdown report for reviewing by the Superintendent before end of shift every day
• Analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required. Ensure that the correct procedures are used when breakdowns and failures troubleshooting
• Ensure all WOs open status have been compared with current break down equipment to make sure all WOs are controlled and closed if the job has been done
• Review DOOD (Daily Outstanding Operator Defect), SOS report, mechanical inspection are analysed and reviewed and also ensure it is submitted in daily complete with the part recommendation. Ensure the mechanic raises the list of part recommended accurately to address all backlog, breakdowns and planned maintenance
• Ensure all break down machine are reported in OCDC, and all information repair description, coding, start and finish have been filled in OCDC correctly
• Prepare parts equipment and manpower for planned work and shutdown days, Ensure all repairs are carried out in an effective cost and timely manner
• Investigation and reporting of all accident damage to all equipment in the field and associated area, this is included with the operator abuse
• Make a safe working environment for all employees by ensuring all activities are carry out according to the work procedures in the TMS, JSEAs are relevant and all hazards are controlled
• Ensure that there is no impact for the environment from the activities that are carried out to operate and repair equipment by ensuring that the procedures in the TMS are followed
• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe and make sure subordinate understand of our objectives and Thiess policies, and address all safety information to crew.
• Ensure all the disciplinary actions are issued as required in accordance with the Site Mine Regulations.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum Senior High School, Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Trade Specialist is preferred; requires a minimum 5 years’ professional experience in similar role as Superintendent with relevant qualification in Mechanical & Auto Electrical HE Repair and Plant Supervision in mining industry, planning of daily shut down schedule and breakdown repair; mechanical & auto electrical repair experience in HD Truck/Dozer/Grader unit such as Caterpillar, Komatsu ; handling diagnostic skill in all aspects of electrical repairs;
• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; Having POP certification is preferable; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; able to work under pressure are preferred character traits; be able to work on shift roster (day and night shift).

• Communication and reporting. Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel regarding breakdowns safety issues, and prioritizing of equipment repairs
• Ensure the accurate completion of daily breakdown reports, supervisors shift report, PCR’s for review by senior supervisors before end of shift every day. Ensure accurate breakdown hour information is provided
• Analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required. Ensure correct procedures used when troubleshooting breakdowns and failures
• Review operators checklist summary and mechanical inspection sheets, ensure submission to Senior supervisor with repair and parts recommendation. Ensure mechanic raise recommended parts lists accurately to address all known work, breakdowns, and planned maintenance
• Prepare parts equipment and manpower for planned work and shut days, Ensure all repairs are carried out in a cost effective and timely manner
• Investigation and reporting of all accident damage to all equipment in the field and associated area, this includes operator abuse
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employee by ensure all activities are carry out according to the work procedures in the TMC and the Site project management plan
• Ensure that there is no impact on the environment from the activities that are carried out to operate and repair equipment by ensuring that the procedures in the TMS and Site Management plan are followed.
• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
• Ensure all disciplinary actions are issued as required in accordance with the Site mine regulations and maintenance department rules

• Senior High School / Technical School or Technical Engineer
• Familiar with Heavy equipment’s : Dozer (Caterpillar / Komatsu), Excavator (HiItachi/Komatsu/Liebher), Sandvick Drills, Dump Truck (Caterpillar)
• Having POP certification is preferable

• 10 year experience in mechanical repair and supervision in the mining industry
